Ha...not like there was much to miss. Today it dawned on me, it has been an entire year, well almost since I last (first) posted. I promise, I promise... this right here...this right here, is the real thing!
Maybe it's just me, but every year I go through the same exact Christmas blues. I'm a lover of the Holidays especially Christmas time! Having a child of my own to share these joys are even more reason why I look forward to it every year.
With every year it arrives I immediately get excited, happy, stoked, which then turns into the most overwhelming time of the year. "Can Christmas get here and be over already!?" that's usually my cries as the days until Christmas are numbered! Extremely happy and always ready to have it get here and be done with whoop..........
Then comes Christmas night, sadness ensues. "Wait is it all over?' tears, every year, every year same ole tune. Don't leave me Holidays!
This year was truly one to remember as it was the first Hanna grasped the entire Christmas concept. She continuously raved at how much she appreciated all her gifts, and that it was her best day ever! Nothing beats putting a smile on your little one's face, giving to them the same magic that warms their tiny hearts, that our parents once gave to us. My promise to myself for next year will be to absorb as much of the Holidays as possible, no more Christmas blues!
Happy Holidays
